HELP - RESEARCH WORKBOOK

 

HOW TO START - FROM TREE WORKBOOK COMBO (#1)

In the TREE workbook, on the TREE worksheet

  1. Choose the Person you want to create a RESEARCH summary for
  2. Double Click on "PROFILE & RESEARCH" to open a userform
  3. Click on "OPEN" under the Blue RESEARCH section

 

HOW TO START -STANDALONE FILE (#3)

  1. Open the "RESEARCH WORKBOOK TEMPLATE" in the Zip File
  2. Enable Contents if Prompted
  3. Follow the Prompts (Enter a Unique ID, Enter Name) - this will create a subfolder for this Person AND a new Excel File. 
  4. Add a person's preferred DOB if known
  5. Begin Adding Records

The Template Excel file will automatically close after step 3 without saving any Edits.

So you can repeat steps 1-3 Everytime to create a new workbook OR you can click "CREATE NEW" from inside someone elses Research Workbook which initiates that same process.
