HELP - TREE - DEFAULT PHOTOS
The file comes with default silhouette photos for Male and Female tree members without a profile photo.
These files are saved in the "MEDIA\DEFAULT PICTURES" subfolder and are named "MALE" and "FEMALE" respectively.
*You can not rename or move these files from this location.
HOW TO CHANGE:
You do have the option to change these images to any photo that you want to be displayed for default Male and Female persons in your tree.
They just have to meet the following conditions to work properly:
1. The replacement files MUST be ".GIF" files. This file format allows them to be transparent when inserted.
2. The replacement files MUST have the "MALE" and "FEMALE" filename exactly.
3. The replacement files MUST be placed in the same "MEDIA\DEFAULT PICTURES" subfolder.
*You can overwrite the existing default files or manually delete them first before adding your new photos.
If all (3) conditions were met then your new photos will appear on charts instead of the default.
*Remember the ideal aspect ratio for photos is 71:100. Anything too far from that ratio may look distorted.
