HOW TO READ:

The chart will display the Primary Person and all their spouses at the top of the page.  Each generation of descendants will be displayed below them.

Each generation is separated by a title row showing the count and how to determine relationships.

This chart relies on color coordination from the descendant design scheme along with ID references.

1. Descendant spouses will show below their name in the gray range (A). This will automatically adjust to the number of spouses they have. The smaller the box size and the more spouses will result in less information displayed.

*Print the index to get full details for each ID number on the chart.

2. Each descendant will have (3) ID numbers.

  • Red = Their unique ID (D).
  • Blue = Their Father's ID (B).
  • Purple = Their Mother's ID (C).

You can trace the parent ID's up to the previous generation to see who they where.

The color coordination will carry down from generation to generation to make this process easy.

Non-biological children will display an " * " after their parent's ID number.

3. Each descendant will also show what # child they are in that immediate family (E). This is helpful for further down generations to differentiate when siblings and cousins have the same color.

*See CHART OPTIONS for more details on editing the default chart.
