HELP - GEDCOM - DIRECTORY

RULES:

1. Do NOT rename any of the subfolders
2. OK to rename the GEDCOM.xlsm file
3. OK to move the entire directory to anywhere on computer or external devices*.

*May have issues if moved to and opened from cloud storage

CONTENTS:

The GEDCOM directory consists of the following items:

1. GEDCOM.xlsm = Macro-Enabled excel file that is used to import the GEDCOM data into Excel. (OK to rename)

2. BACKUP subfolder = Contains an .ico file (A) that can be used to cosmetically change the icon for the directory. FOLDER ICON
